Bobban Subhadra M.S, PhD
Dr. Subhadra leads the Biom Pharmaceuticals. As CEO of Biom, he brings expertise in growing and scaling businesses, operations, marketing, and innovation and broad brand portfolios. He worked with several early-stage biotech companies to develop and commercialize biomedical products and services. As a researcher he studied the role of neuroserpin, tissue plasminogen activator, and thyroid hormone in synaptic plasticity and developed Alzheimer’s disease mouse models and has published extensively in prestigious journals including Nature and Science. He has developed and commercialized numerous patented technologies and products for biochemical, biofuel, and pharmaceutical companies. Bobban has earned a Master’s degree from University of Arkansas and a Doctoral degree in Microbiology and Immunology from School of Medicine, University of New Mexico.

As CTO, Dr. Ramadass leads the Scientific Advisory Board and is responsible for leading research on Microbiome and probiotics for BIOM Pharmaceuticals. He has more than 15 years of experience on microbiome research, with a focus on characterizing disease specific microbiome, to manipulate microbiome to benefit health and developing newer probiotics. He is currently Professor at Indian Institute of Technology, Bhubaneswar. Heading the Probiotic Innovation Center, he is also the Director of research at MicroBiome Health Solutions, India. As a researcher he studied the role of gut microbiome in health & disease, Bacterial succession in the colon during childhood to adolescence, Quantification of specific butyrate-producing bacteria, Desulfovibrio and Enterococcus faecalis in colorectal patients, Probiotic administration altering the gut flora and attenuates colitis in DSS colitis Mice models, Anemic women with low fecal Lactobacillus, Longitudinal analysis of the intestinal microbiome in persistently stunted children and has extensively published in prestigious journals. Ramadass has earned a Master’s degree from JIPMER, India and Doctoral degree in Medical Biochemistry from Christian Medical College, Vellore, India.

He has vast experience with retail and hospital pharmacy, diabetes, infectious disease, pain management, hypertension, weight loss, cardiology and various field based support task forces.
